When I've been keeping reading the story, and I 've reached to the point that continued shifting of vioces between the present Snowman(Jimmy) and the past Snowman, which shows a split personality because he've experienced too many traumatic events. And the harder snowman tries to dissociate himself from his memories, the more it haunt him.
Another important plot is that Snowman's memories of his pet--- rakunk, Killer, demonstrate his ability to connect with animals on a more intimate level than regular people do.
